Mrs. Potts, the matriarch of the donkeys, was a wild burro from California with an amazing demeanor. A super sweet gentle soul.
Susie and Gerry, mother and son, were the first donkeys at Butterfly Field Farm, rescued from a kill pen in Ashville, NC. They are an inseparable duo that demonstrates the unbreakable bond donkeys form and keep throughout their lives.
Benji is the spunkiest of the donkey herd, always wanting to run and play with his friends, and is first in line when treats are being handed out.
Luisa is the smallest of our female donkeys and loves our little visitor friends. A beautiful girl with a tender heart who lost her one-year-old son to a genetic heart defect.
